This plaque is decorated with a detailed medallion in the center, containing Mother Mary with Child Jesus. The plaque also features decoration of floral ornaments, animals, and other figures.

The plaque was probably created in Rotterdam at the factory on the Schiedamsedijk, which belonged to the Aelmis family. The plaque is however quite reminiscent of Delftware. This is because the Aelmis family was also involved in a Delft-based company, which focused on the production of Dutch Delftware.
