An exceptional burr walnut secretaire cabinet (bureau bookcase), the richly figured burr walnut, with its intricate grain patterns, shimmers with depth and warmth. Made in the Netherlands circa 1710–1725, this Dutch Queen Anne cabinet features gracefully arched and symmetrical doors with their original bevelled mirrors.

When opened, the cabinet reveals a finely arranged interior of drawers, pigeonholes, and concealed compartments. Every element is harmoniously ordered, creating a piece that is beautifully balanced between elegance and practicality.

The cabinet also has a beautiful provenance, having belonged to a Dutch noble family from Zwolle.
