The feet of this linen press are decorated with small lions. They are sitting in a sphinx-like position and with their behinds turned upward, as if they were doing a handstand. These feet had a functional purpose as well, making sure the press was secure and well-balanced. Similar feet can be found on caskets dated in the late 16th century.

A drawer is placed between the feet of the press, which can be opened from the back. The front of the press is decorated with a cherub head, flanked by rosettes. On top of the two bottle-shaped columns with Ionic capitals rests a scaffold. The scaffold contains a scalloped motif on the frieze and ornamental knots on top of both corners. The pressing board is decorated with floral ornaments in all four corners.
